Terms and Conditions
The visitor attraction known as THIS IS HOLLAND (TIH), located at Overhoeksplein 51, Amsterdam (“the Attraction”), aims to inspire both residents of the Netherlands and tourists to forever hold the country in their hearts. All individuals visiting the Attraction are subject to the following Terms and Conditions, and by purchasing one or more Tickets for the Attraction (“Ticket” or “Tickets”), you confirm to TIH that you accept these terms of use. Ticket holders are referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “Visitors.”
Tickets
1.1 A purchased Ticket is strictly personal and grants access to the Attraction for one person on a single occasion. Once Visitors have exited the Attraction, they must purchase an additional Ticket to re-enter.
1.2 All persons entering the Attraction must possess a valid Ticket, which must be retained at all times and presented upon request by a staff member. Failure to present a valid Ticket upon request may result in removal from the Attraction.
1.3 Group Tickets for groups of ten or more may be available at discounted rates (“Group Tickets”). See https://www.thisisholland.com/tickets-prijzen/groepstickets (the Groups page) for details.
1.4 Where Ticket prices vary by age, the following conditions apply:
1.4.1 A person aged 13 or older is considered an adult;
1.4.2 A person aged 4 to 12 is considered a child; and
1.4.3 Children under the age of 4 cannot participate in the experience.

1.6 Once obtained, whether by purchase or for free, Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and void if altered. Tickets that TIH reasonably suspects to have been transferred or altered will not be honored. Lost Tickets will not be replaced.
1.7 Tickets grant access to the Attraction.
1.8 From time to time, TIH may issue Tickets as part of special promotions (“Promotional Tickets”), but Promotional Tickets are subject to availability and all Terms and Conditions applicable to the specific promotion.
1.9 If your group booking needs to be cancelled after it has been confirmed, the group leader must notify us immediately. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund cancelled bookings made within 48 hours prior to the visit.
Pre-booked Tickets
2.1 Pre-booked Tickets (including Cluster Tickets, as defined below) must be shown at the main entrance of the Attraction.
2.2 Individuals redeeming pre-booked Tickets must present the following items to Attraction staff:
2.2.1 The booking reference issued when the Tickets were reserved; and
2.3 Pre-booked Tickets may not be used in conjunction with any voucher, promotion, or special offer.
Children
3.1 Children aged 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
3.2 The main flight experience of the Attraction may not be suitable for children of certain ages. TIH reserves the right to deny access to the main flight experience to Visitors below the recommended age limit.
3.3 Visitors must be taller than 102 cm to participate in the Flight Experience. The minimum age is 4 (four) years. Visitors over the age of four and under 16 who are between 103 and 130 cm tall must be accompanied by an adult Visitor.
Health and Safety
4.1 A variety of special effects (including sudden loud effects) may be used in certain visitor areas of the Attraction. Visitors with medical conditions are advised to speak to Attraction staff for more details and follow their guidance.
4.2 Participation in the Flight Experience is not permitted in the following cases:
(a) Visitors with back problems and/or conditions;
(b) Visitors with heart (related) conditions;
(c) Visitors suffering from fear of heights;
(d) Visitors who are pregnant;
(e) Visitors under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs;
(f) Visitors who cannot be seated alone in the Flight Experience;
(g) Visitors wearing loose clothing.
4.3 Attraction staff may from time to time draw Visitors’ attention to certain health and safety procedures that must be followed.
Visitor Conduct
5.1 Visitors must comply with the following prohibitions while at the Attraction:
5.1.1 No smoking;
5.1.2 No pets or animals. Assistance dogs are welcome if arranged in advance;
5.1.3 No consumption of food or drink without the express permission of TIH;
5.1.4 No weapons;
5.1.5 No access to any part of the Attraction other than those designated for Visitor access;
5.1.6 No excessive noise (from mobile phones, personal stereos, or otherwise), or behavior that may irritate or offend other Visitors or intimidate Attraction staff;
5.1.7 No illegal drugs or excessive and disruptive alcohol consumption.
5.2 TIH reserves the right to refuse admission to or remove from the Attraction any Visitor who does not comply with the Terms and Conditions.
Security
6.1 For safety reasons, Visitors may be asked to allow a search of their belongings. Anyone who refuses or is found to be in possession of materials deemed dangerous by TIH will be denied entry.
6.2 Visitors must keep their personal belongings with them at all times, and TIH accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought into the Attraction.
Photography
7.1 TIH or other authorized third parties may from time to time take photographs or other recordings within the Attraction, and Visitors may be included in such images or recordings. Visitors agree to the use of such images by TIH for advertising, promotional, or monitoring purposes, and acknowledge that copyright for such images rests with TIH and/or an authorized third party.
7.2 Photography and filming are not permitted during the shows at TIH.
TIH Obligations
8.1 Visitors are reminded that parts of the Attraction may occasionally be closed for maintenance or technical reasons. Tickets will not be refunded and no compensation will be paid in the event of such closures or removals.
8.2 TIH will make all reasonable efforts to remain open and operational during published opening hours but reserves the right to close the Attraction on any given day for safety or any other reason without prior notice. In the event of such a closure, all Tickets issued solely for use on the day of closure will be exchanged or refunded at the price paid, but no further compensation will be provided.
